Dayton Dawe Drafted By Yankees
Congratulations to RHP Dayton Dawe who was drafted by the New York Yankees in the 15th round of today's MLB Draft!
Dayton is in his second year with the Terriers and is also a member of Canada's Junior National Team. Dawe possesses an electric 90+ mph fast ball, complemented by nasty secondary pitches. He has consistently pitched at a high level for the Terriers and on the international stage with Team Canada.
Further, he is a tremendous team mate and a very mature, respectful young man on and off the field.
Dayton is the first Terrier ever to be drafted by the Bronx Bombers. His hard work, desire to succeed, and most importantly the ongoing support of his family brought him to this very proud day. Great job Dayton!
