Terrier Trio Shine Down Under
The Canadian Junior National Team are currently on tour in Australia in preparation for the World Championships which begin next week in Taiwan.
The Nats came away with a 3-0 victory last night lead by the Terrier trio of Toby Handley, Travis Seabrooke and Cal Quantrill.
Travis and Cal combined for the six hit shutout over Team Australia. Travis threw five innings, allowed just three hits and struck out eight.
Cal went the final four innings and struck out three Aussie hitters.
Toby has lead the Team Canada offense throughout the tour. He has ten hits, a .345 avg and is six for six in stolen bases. He was 2-4 in the 3-0 win.
The Junior Nats play their final tune up game today before they head to Taiwan for the World's.
